‘Russian’ to premiere in mid-summer

Iranian film ‘Russian’ directed by Amir-Hossein Saqafi is scheduled to be ready for screening by mid-summer.

According to the producer Ali-Akbar Saqafi, “the screening contract for ‘Russian’ has been signed and we will be distributing the film for public screening in the near future.”

The producer added, “the film will most likely premiere mid-summer this year.”

On the film’s attendance in international film festivals, Saqafi concluded that the screening of ‘Russian’ in Iran and its presence in international film festivals will occur simultaneously.

Written by Amir-Hossein Saqafi, the film which has been shot in over 36 different locations is a drama themed around social issues.

The main cast of the film consists of Amir Aqaee, Tannaz Tabatabaee, Saber Abar, Milad Keymaram and Kamran Tafti.
